About us

Our business was started by Breiviken Eiendom AS the summer of 2003 with 52 storage units in Sandviken. Our goal was to establish a self storage facility in Bergen city with high standard and security. In the autumn 2004, the operation was taken over by the newly formed business, named Selvbetjeningslageret AS, and the storage facility was expanded with one floor.

In the spring 2005, Liegruppen AS was brought into the business with the goal to build a new facility, central located in Hansagårdene at Kalfaret. This facility was ready in descember the same year,

In the autumn 2006, our 3th facility was built in the southern district at Midtun. This facility was opened february 2007. In this facility, we also have 40 office spaces to rent. Midtunlageret AS is established as a wholly owned subsidiary of Selvbetjeningslageret AS.

All facilities are marketed under the brand name of Selvbetjeningslageret.

Objective:
Selvbetjeningslageret AS' goal is to continue to develop both storage concept and rent volume.

Owners 
Selvbetjeningslageret AS is owned by Liegruppen AS, Tiki Invest AS and Knut Skurtveit AS.

Management
The genereal manager is Lars Skurtveit.

He is our main contact and are answering phone calls and emails. He can show you our storage facilities at no cost, sign contracts, and are responsible for the general management and the maintaining of relationships with customers.
